Kiosk, the storied purveyor of quotidian goods from around the world started by Alisa Grifo and Marco ter Haar Romeny (whose uncanny eye for beauty in the everyday earned them a show of the Kiosk archive at MoMA PS1 in 2015), shuttered its SoHo operation in 2010. For those bereaved by its closing—it’s now located in Marseille, France, and online at kioskkiosk.com—a holiday pop-up at Gordon Robichaux gallery in New York is offering Kiosk’s regular stock in trade plus books from Ooga Booga, coffee from BF Hall, clothing, jewelry, and original and editioned art. Pick up a bright-red Italian metal tape dispenser ($35), a Japanese bamboo steamer basket ($42), a German measuring tape with inches marked on one side and centimeters on the other ($13), an original ceramic piece by artist Elisabeth Kley ($1,500), or choose from a cornucopia of other items for the hard-to-shop-for loved ones on your list.
