Barbaro Martinez-Ruiz, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Art History at Indiana University, will give a lecture titled “The Art of Manuel Mendive” on Wednesday, February 26^th at 5 p.m. in the in the Wein Experimental Theatre located in the Quick Center for the Arts.

This lecture is part of the Edwin L. Weisl, Jr. Lectureships in Art History, and is funded by the Robert Lehman Foundation. This lecture is presented in conjunction with Archives of Consciousness: Six Cuban Artists, which will be on view in the museum’s Walsh Gallery from January 24 – May 15, 2020.
